Jessy was delightful to work with from beginning to end - he met me by appointment on short notice, answered my questions, and helped me think through what I needed without any upselling or pressure. He clearly enjoys talking to people and knows a great deal about mid century modern furniture. The delivery was right on time and the piece arrived in beautiful condition. Anthony made sure everything went well. The team who is refurbishing the pieces are meticulous - no detail seems to be overlooked. While of course very expensive, these are lifetime pieces that will only appreciate over time. Also, the pieces seem to be in demand so if you see something you love, don't think on it for too long. {"type":"root","children":[{"type":"paragraph","children":[{"type":"text","value":"I purchased a Danish Modern credenza. It is beautiful and its online representation was very accurate. Jessy was great in answering my questions. The only problem was delivery, which took nine weeks and very circuitous turns. Delivery is 1stDIBS' responsibility; not the dealer's. And if you have a problem with delivery, it is hard to reach a human at 1stDIBS and they are slow to respond. (At one point, they actually couldn't say where my piece was.) I know deliveries have been problematic since pandemic but I thought 1stDIBS needed to take more ownership of the problem. Next time, I would consider asking the dealer about delivery options. On another potential purchase, the dealer found a much better delivery price than 1stDIBS. That said, the piece arrived in good shape and Jessy (the dealer) was great to work with. Wish I lived in LA and could bring more pieces home in my pick up truck!"}]}]}
