Est. 2009
Since 2009, we have been traveling across Denmark and Sweden to source the finest examples of mid-century modern furniture, lighting, and ceramics. Our focus is strictly on original, authenticated pieces designed by masters like Hans Wegner, Finn Juhl, Arne Jacobsen, and Børge Mogensen.
We have built deep relationships with European auction houses, private collectors, and estates. This network allows us to acquire rare and historically significant pieces, often untouched for decades before they ever reach the public market. When a container arrives at our gallery, it represents months of careful curation and relentless hunting for the perfect grain, original patinas, and unmatched craftsmanship.
Sourcing the pieces is only half the journey. The true soul of Danish Modern L.A. lives in our Hyperion Avenue workshop in Los Angeles.
When a piece arrives from Copenhagen, our team of master craftsmen begins the meticulous process of restoration. We believe in sympathetic restoration, meaning we never want a piece to look brand new. Instead, we carefully clean, re-oil, and repair joinery while preserving the beautiful patina that can only be earned through sixty years of life.
Our upholstery is done entirely in-house. We strip compromised foam and fabric down to the bare frame and rebuild it using period-correct techniques, from hand-tied springs to traditional webbing, finishing with premium Kvadrat wools and Sørensen leathers.
We do not sell reproductions. Every piece in our gallery is an authenticated piece of history, ready for its next lifetime.
We do not deal in replicas, contemporary re-issues, or "in the style of" furniture. Every piece in our gallery is an authenticated mid-century original. All purchases include a signed Certificate of Authenticity and a detailed provenance and restoration report.
