Pair of lounge chairs designed by Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen for France & Daverkosen in Denmark circa 1950’s. Crafted using a few studio techniques: laminated bentwood curvilinear arms and beautifully exposed joinery, this pair of iconic model FD-146 chairs feature a teak wood frame with a recently upholstered seat cushion in a quality grey tweed fabric. The newly caned backrest curves for optimum lumbar support. A very comfortable and simple design that perfectly illustrates the elegance and sophistication of Danish Modern design. Both chairs have been fully restored by our expert team, adding many more years of use.
