One of the most iconic modern credenzas by the famous American designer, Goerge Nelson, in collaboration with Herman Miller during the 1950s. Known as the Model-EOG for Executive Office Group, our skillfully crafted credenza features a sturdy walnut case with a stunning high polished, glossy finish in mustard and burnt orange sliding doors, creating an elegant contrast with the warm walnut grain. The credenza features three adjustable shelved compartments and three drawers for plenty of storage and display options. It's contrasting materials and colors creates an artistic aesthetic while bringing lots of functionality to create a timeless case piece. Its superior quality and remarkable craftsmanship showcase American Modern furniture design at its finest, adding a uniquely modern statement to any room. Our expert craftsmen have meticulously refinished our credenza keeping all original design principles, preserving its historical value.

The Restoration Record

Everything we touched, and everything we left alone

Sixty-four hours of bench time by two craftsmen in our Hyperion Avenue workshop. Period-correct methods and materials throughout.

Frame fully disassembled, joints cleaned of old glue and re-set with hide glue. One rear stretcher replaced with salvaged period teak, grain-matched.
Stripped by hand, sanded through 120/180/240/320 grit, then three coats of Danish oil cut back between coats. No lacquer, no filler, no stain.
New jute webbing over the original beech rails; horsehair and natural latex pad; Kvadrat wool bouclé in undyed oat.
Maker's stamp, original brass fittings and the patina on the arm caps, the marks that prove the piece lived.
